Project: Valentines Day 2019 retail window display
The brief: We were commissioned by Hideaway Cafe to create, build and install a tasteful window display for Valentines Day 2019. It had to be subtle yet stand-out in it's Burlington Arcade location.
What we did:
created a 'Hide deep is your love' custom red neon
created a custom heart cut-out window frame and covered it in over 400 handmade white paper flowers
With just 3 days to turn around this project, we sourced and selected over 400 handmade paper flowers for this display. We then cut a heart shape into a piece of plywood using our CNC machine, cut the stalks off each individual flower, and glued them to the frame using glue guns.
With such a tight turnaround our team was up well into the night trying to get this finished! We even roped in Clint's girlfriend, lawyer by day, prop maker by night!
We were allowed access to Burlington Arcade overnight and after we had run power, installed the display in just under an hour.
